I think those songs are great. I love every song on the first four releases...none of them are weak...except for maybe Reptile on Walls of Jericho. And just because Weikath is still in the band doesnt mean that this new Keeprs allbum will be good...he's only half of the magical guitar duo that gave us the first two keepers albums....and frankly he's the lesser of the two.

Bah...there are definitely a few weak songs on those albums, more than the two you mentioned. But I guess it's possible you just like bad music!! :D :D :D 8)

Thats funny coming from a fan of Andi Deris helloween. If thats good power metal to you than you're off your rocker. Listen to Digital Warriors by Vicious Rumors....thats what power metal should sound like. Or Ample Destruction the first jag Panzer. New Helloween and most modern power metal lacks character and balls....and the power metal bands that are more aggressive....just plain suck in the most generic way possible, they can't even find good ways to suck!

Dude, you need to set aside some Holy_Terror happy time at some point in the day! Apparently you missed the smileys above.

I don't care what YOU suggest is good power metal, or true power metal, or whatever. I'm interested in good MUSIC. That's all I care about. I don't care if the next Helloween album is a folk record, if it's fucking good, I'm down. I don't care. Who says what something SHOULD sound like? Especially a genre of music that has NO defined lines when it comes to style, there are a million power metal bands out there doing it a different way. You'd suggest that the genre be pigeon-holed into one specific style? How boring would power metal be then?

I'm the same way if it sounds good then I will buy it.

I agree with the variety of power metal around. If all bands sound like Hammerfall,Manowar,Rhapsody or Stratovarius then it would be boring and generic but that is why you do have bands like the ones that I mention because they do play stuff different.Manowar doesn't sound like Stratovarius and Rhapsody doesn't sound like Sonata Arctica that is why I like bands like that because they sound different.

I could see how variety would be justified, if the music was good. But its not. Now admittedly this is an opinion, and for that reason alone I am allowed unlimited amounts of criticism. You can like these bands, I'm not telling you you shouldnt. But I will say that they fucking suck, and I'll say it every chance I get. If I hear something I disagree with, I'm going to say something about it...and I for one dont think metal needs anymore variety. There's already a million fuckin sub genres within the genre, the last thing we need is variety within something thats already varied as hell.

But metal small brains cant tell the difference. These are the same people who say song writing isnt important. thats the mark of a casual listener. So if you're going to sit there and use the "i don't care what it is as long as its good" excuse, then that means you have to listen harder so you're not advocating absolute crap. So your lack of definition within the genre adds up to a confused listening experience where you settle for the most easily accesable crap possible. Ignorance is bliss they say.

And before you even bother writing this, I'm gonna say it for you. i am an aggrogant elitist prick, and I think my opinion is better than yours. Let the crying commence!!

Anytime, bud. I gotta say, though, your statement about the importance of songwriting is right on target. There's no point in trying to be new and different if you don't have a shred of talent, which embodies the good majority of the sub-sub-sub genre bands.

Dude, you can have your opinion all you want, just don't tell me that you can have your opinion and I can like these bands in one breath, and then tell me I'm advocating shitty bands and I'm ignorant because I don't agree with you in the next. I listen to a WIDE variety of music, and don't give me the bullshit that I'm listening to the most easily accessible crap out there, that's fucking retarded. I listen to good music, what I CONSIDER to be good music. I don't agree with your opinion, you don't agree with mine, the difference is I'm not TELLING you that you're wrong.

And I'm not sure what "But metal small brains cant tell the difference..." was supposed to mean, but it sounds like it was supposed to be an insult, if it was then FUCK YOU, if not, HAVE A GOOD DAY, SIR.

I would like to know how you know what we are experiencing while we listen to music.

As I said, not insulted because the way you wrote it, it makes no sense! :D

I listened to Helloween since the beginning, and mostly liked the Kiske era the most except for "Chameleon".
But the last years..i liked the Hansen days the best because i cant find one damn bad song before the Seven Keys albums.

It took years for me to get used to Andi's voice and i think its a degrade from Kiske. Still..I thought The Master of the Rings were smashing album, and so was The Time of the Oath.

I have listened to the complete new Keys 3 album (2 CD's) , and i must say its the best since Master of the Rings.
Andi Deris sings better than on any previous albums too which is a very good thing.

I cant understand why some flame Mr.s God.. Dr. Stein was the 1st single from Keys 2 and its even more crazy.

My favourite track so far is the 14 mins long "The King for a 1000 Years". The bad thing about it, is that its so good that it feels like 5 mins. Its the best Helloween song since Halloween.

"Light The Universe" is the only ballad on the new Keys album and the rest is pure Metal :)

My top 5 tracklist for the Keys 3 is so far:

1.) The King for a 1000 Years
2.) Occasion Avenue
3.) Born On Judgement Day
4.) Pleasure Drone
5.) The Invisible Man

Halloween is still my favourite Helloween song ever, and King for a 1000 years is among 5 of their best songs ever.

Weikath and Hansen is for sure the best song writers Helloween have/had.

Ok. I just heard the new Keepers. I can safely say that it is one of the best Helloween albums to date, but it is no Keepers I or II. There are some amazing tracks, but there are also some less memorable ones, and to me Keepers I and II were flawless albums. With that said, I will definitely be picking this up when it comes out. 89/100 for me. Definitely an amazing album.

Holy Terror, you will probably not like this album, maybe a couple tracks, but I think I can predict your reaction.

I think there are more than a few stinkers on Keepers I and II. I realize those are classic albums, you don't even need to like an album to understand that, but there are some crap songs on them, or rather, songs that aren't all that.

I think this album is awesome! Every song. Awesome.

I think the first disk is flawless, but the second disk is less memorable. Although Occasion Avenue is brilliant, so is the last song.

I think out of the second disc people will dislike "Get It Up" and "Come Alive" the most. I like both those songs, "Come Alive" is one of my favorites, but they could have kept "Get It Up" off the album and put "Run (The Name Of Your Enemy)" on there and beefed it up a bit.

Also, though inevitable, people should try and avoid comparing this album to the other two Keepers albums. They're a completely different band now, it really does none of the albums justice by comparing them, you know?
