"Screw you, Butthead - Bon Jovi rocks!"

I'll add my vote for Monster Magnet as well. They're not spectacular, but make for good listening.

I also add to this list:

Twisted Sister-You Can't Stop Rock and Roll, Under the Blade, and the Still Hungry re-record(lots of extra tracks and a killer production). Everything else in their discography avoid like the plague!

Fastway-S/T and the Trick or Treat Soundtrack. This band is highly underrated and put out some great stuff. Fast Eddie Clarke from Motorhead. Personally I find ToT to be their best work. Again, avoid everything without Dave King on vocals like the plague.

W.A.S.P.!-I like everything this band has done. I would start with eithier the S/T or The Last Command.

Iommi-the pairing of the riffmaster Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes on vocals/bass is a beautiful combination.

And of course Bon Scott era AC/DC and Motorhead rule every Hard Rock band with Iron Fists!

What's with the Bon Scott era AC/DC shit? I'll be honest, I don't own any AC/DC albums so I know nothing but the popular songs, but from what I hear, Bon Scott and Brian Johnson sound exactly the same! How a band employed two of the worst vocalists in the history of music is beyond me! :D

I'll agree they don't sound completely different. However, if you do like AC/DC, as many do, skullthrone is 100% correct. The Bon Scott albums own the shit out of the Brian Johnson ones.

Also, I looked up hard rock in the dictionary and there was a picture of Motorhead. OK, so there wasn't, but there fucking should be!

Ha Ha! Well, it boils down to the songwriting was top notch when Bon was alive. I like Brian Johnson, but the quaility of albums has dropped off considerably. It seems they have been content with just going through the motions after Bon died. Bear in mind though, an AC/DC going through the motions still shits all over 20,000 other bands out there.

They're a band I've been meaning to buy a CD by for 15 years! Hahahahaha!! As riffless as they are, and as shitty the vocals, there just seems to be something very captivating about them! Hahaha. Weird.

Their next CD is supposed to be a double CD, I read.

I would suggest "High Voltage". I think that best represents what they were trying to do. Or, the mighty "If You Want Blood, You Got It." One of the best live albums ever done. Regarding them being riffless and having shitty vocals, well that arguement can be made. But, when an artist has true passion for something, it always shines through no matter what the constraints are.

Hmm a double CD? Can that same riff stretch through a double CD?

Hahaha. Hey, I've said it a million times over, you don't have to be a brilliant musician to write brilliant songs. Nor do you have to have more than 10 riffs to write hundreds of good songs, it would appear! =)

I still notice Enuff Znuffs fails to make a great hard rock list?
This band is far superior in "catchy" songwriting, melodies, hooks and diversity and i simply dont feel it is an opinion, just open your ears guys.
this band has been way overlooked for two long. The albums are very consistent throughout the last 16 years or so, will others mentioned have floundered around with total crap from time to time. The beattles set the mold for this catchy hard rock, and Enuff Znuff has been finishing it off with the modern :rock" n "roll" touches. It is ahamed you guys have all missed out on something "truly" special. Highly original songwritning, diverse styles, great musicinaship and imo unbelievable vox (if you like passion and a little emotional)

Not to mention Donnie Vies (Enuff Znuff vocalist) solo album "just enuff" blows that McCartney Macca out of the water. The production is weak, buyt the songwriting itself is killer. It is more of what a Beattles album should sound like!

Personally, their first album put me off big time. I understand now that apparently that really wasn't what the band was about, but I'm not going to go out and pick up any of their CDs for regular price. If I came across one used I'd buy it.

The debut has no simlarities from the rest. It was a Capitol records push for them to be like Poison and wear makeup right as the Grunge movement as moving in.
It was a major corporate error and almost single-handedly ruined the bands career.
I know many that feel the same way as you do and have only heard the song "fly high michelle: that has videos bouncing around once in a while in VH1 and MTV. This song is not indicative of this band at all.
It is basically a total shame :(

Electric Six I believe falls under "indie rock" but I don't know anything about the genre so I don't know. But they're awesome.
