nintendo aren't stupid. even at IGN they're talking about a more "conventional" controller for certain games, but with the little pointer thing in it in case it was necessary.

the pointer seems amazing, and looks like it will finally make FPS and RTS games every bit as playable on a console as on a PC.

i'm sure sony and microsoft are already working on their own clones as i type this.

and someone mentioned the SNES rpg's. DAMN RIGHT! Chrono Trigger rules and has a killer soundtrack to boot! i love the song on the battle with Magus!

You mean Lavos the final boss,or there was an impossible version of him.

ET sounds good, but the official name of the game is "Wolfenstein: Enemies Territories" Does this mean its a mod/add-on to W3D?

yuck. That game is suck, some characters are near-impossible to level.

I'm enjoying it. Its not anything great, but it is good, action filled fun.

And yes, the new Zelda looks incredibly awesome. And the Revolution controller is very interesting, to say the least. I can't wait to try it out.

Final boss, the one that has 900 forms.

take thy sword and beat the crap out of him!... after having revived Chrono and done the last side quests it shouldn't be any problem  ... i think i used Chrono, Frogg and that jungle girl, since they all had some very usefull skills to attack and heal

Morrowind
I've got a shitload of mods that make the game graphically almost unrecognizable. Takes a bit more from the machine but worth it.
Anyone who has stopped playing this because it is too ugly or the world has too little action in it should definitely check out the mod databases.

basically my biggest complaint for morrowind is the lack of animations. The fighting animations are very few (ie: you always swing the sword in the same way). They got mods for that?

Not that I know of. But you're right, the fighting is too simple and too much based on luck. I think there are some mods that enhance the using of bows and other marksman stuff but not melee weapons. But honestly so far the only game with a truly inventive fighting interface from the ones that I've tried has been "Die By The Sword". Yep, there was still much development needed but the idea is there.
One that I got pretty interested about was some kind of necromancy mod, normally you just make a spell and summon some creature but the mod makes you actually gather the ingredients (skeletons, hearts and stuff) and perform the ritual correctly.

Yep, mighty two moves more to add to the collection. Now that's what I call some true fucking sword wielding extravaganza experience!
Oh I'm so sarcastic

Well I have "thing" for swords, the bigger the better :)... I've raised 5 or 6 characters to levels 30-40 so I've tried the others too at some point. But really, to me it's not a real problem that there aren't so many moves in it. The real problem is that when I start playing, I can't stop :).

I just beat Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon for PC.. Great game, adventure games like this need to be made more often. Escape From Monkey Island is another great adventure game, alot like this one.

I've only played through Broken Sword 2 but I've been thinking of checking this one out as well. I like games like those as well. The last one I played must've been Gabriel Knight 3, bought it when it got cheaper. Great game as well.
