J/K

"A" for effort, but of course, that's about as good as Honorable Mention. :o

I would have come up with something a lot meaner but I didn't want any Bon Jovi teenie boppers reading it and forming a lynch mob to come after me.

Nothing worse then a lynch mob formed by a bunch of hair band fanatics

Havent listened to any Bon Jovi albums, have only ever heard their singles, the ones in the 80s were ok, Its My Life was a catchy song that I didn't hate, but this new song Have A Nice Day is awful IMO. I cant stand it and it doesnt help the the radio at work plays it a good 5 or 6 times before I leave. I just dont see whats so likeable about it. Having said that, I have not heard the album, so, I cant pass judgement on that.

Bon Jovi is still awesome in my books, i still remember wailing on a tennis racket to "living on a prayer" when i was 11 years old. Oh, and the most rockin' Bon Jovi song of all time is "Runaway"... makes me want to grow long blonde hair and live in the 80's.

and on this BJ album... I really don't feel like trying it though I liked Slippery When Wet & (especially) New Jersey... after that, i lost all interest in the non-metal glam/AOR poser thingy...

I don't think Jovi ever claimed to be anything other than AOR/Hard Rock (these days Hard doesn't come into the equation at all).

I'd love to hear Sonata Arctica or Bodom cover Runaway. :D
