He's gotta be the least secure born-again christian ever, and I wish he had the confidence to stop fucking JUBILATING and pushing this nonsense down our throats; I'm starting to avoid his work simply because the content is so cloyingly sheeplike, to the point that I can't stand it anymore. It's total over-compensation for something; maybe the fact that his song-writing is weak when he's outside of a real band?

I mean it's bad enough that he broke up Transatlantic, but could he at least learn to grow old and terrible without being so embarrasing?

PS, I know this is a huge hypocritical rant but frankly that's precisely what the internet is for.

I loved his album "One". I dont agree with alot (or anything for that matter) of what he says, but I like his voice and I like the music, so I shall listen.

He was better in Spock's Beard though. And I have not heard Transatlantic before. I almost bought an album by them at a flea market, but opted for Savatage instead.

I guess the reason I fail to see your point is that lyrical themes, whatever they happen to be, have never stopped me from enjoying music. Which I guess isn't a good reason, since obviously it bothers you. Which in turn means I don't have much of a place in this topic, and I apologize for being an asshole about it.
