This will probably be HIM all over again.

Personally, I dont mind Disturbed, I like the singers voice and I liked about half of the album "Believe".

That summarises the situation quite nicely. I mean, I stayed out of the H.I.M. thing, but what's coming next week? A Korn review?

no/100 personally

reviews were ok this week though, I think, it's ok to slip in something tangential as long as the metal reviews stay good..

I don't need to hear this to know it sucks / 100.

Disturbed and Gayrunner United on the same week?

That is something I've said many times about genres like Black Metal and some Death Metal stuff, but I was actually open minded to at least giving whatever it was at the time a try. Now I listen to all types of stuff, shit that I never thought I would like. With that being said, if you were able to do that, you could make a better judgement about this release or any other for that matter. 8)

I liked the nail gunner review....but disturbed...come one man, they stand for everything that true metal heads don't. Mainstream metal, those words go together like..........Disturbed and Metal.

Disturbed? DISTURBED??! This band is worse than Nickelback. And yes, even WORSE than Edgay. Seriously one of the worst bands of all time, and I talk with an open mind. The singer has the crappest voice I've ever heard. He makes the cunt who sang for Creed look like an absolute god in comparison. The reviews are going downhill rapidly, I'd get heavier bands out of Smash Hits magazine.

Rant over.

So, Disturbed don't play Nu Metal anymore then? Love that integrity.

Hahahaha! So, if you're band gets offered a record deal you're goint to turn it down, right? David Draiman is a cocksucker, but for their style they're one of the best doing it. I own their first two CDs, I thought the first CD kicked ass. The second was good and catchy, but didn't leave a good impression.

I haven't heard the new one yet, any monkey sounds on this one? The monkey sounds kicked ass!

Check out the link I posted regarding the ability to listen to the entire album, at no cost to you! Maybe after doing so you will think differently :)

Listened to the first two songs... WAY too modern and pollished for my nekrofried ass, but it's not as bad as most here say it is. I can sense the melodeath and metalcore apes love this. This slays the shit out of FF and Soulfly anyways. I recommend listening to the songs in the link given in the review. Jeff has guts reviewing this and a point in saying that this is good.
