By the way, I sense a little of the emotional power Papa Roach has as well on this album. (I'm actually listening to the other songs as well, before switching back to Aichmophoba (limited to 15 :P))

I liked the nail gunner review....but disturbed...come one man, they stand for everything that true metal heads don't. Mainstream metal, those words go together like..........Disturbed and Metal.

Hahahaha! So, if you're band gets offered a record deal you're goint to turn it down, right? David Draiman is a cocksucker, but for their style they're one of the best doing it. I own their first two CDs, I thought the first CD kicked ass. The second was good and catchy, but didn't leave a good impression.

I haven't heard the new one yet, any monkey sounds on this one? The monkey sounds kicked ass!

Well, If you read the review you would have noticed that I talked about that....

Come on! I posted this before work, I didn't have time to read the review! :D

I saw their video for their single on "Jamey Jasta's Metalcore's Ball" and it sounded like the usual disturbed. More typical riffage and "OOOH AHHH OOOH AAHHH AAHHH!" These guys are an embarassment to the whole scene in my home town (Chicago), and decent bands from that area (Fleshgrind) get zero gigs while bookers are on their hands and knees blowing David Draiman to play their venue...It's f'n sickening to see them on television and I wish them the same fate that Drowning Pool met, another band cut from that same cloth of fecal matter.

OK, you turds, I've been listening to this CD all morning. It is definitely not nu-metal, I never really considered them to be straight-up nu-metal anyway (which is an extremely broad term). I would classify it as a modern rock/metal album.

It's very good, much better than Believe, which I thought was just mediocre. I'll have to make a point to find this CD now. And who the hell said this dude couldn't sing? He's got a great voice, very unique.

Gee, I wonder why Fleshgrind get zero gigs?

Nu-Metal is related to Rock, not metal. That label is a misconception.

No one's making up shit. If you really think Nu-Metal is Metal, I'm sorry for the mentally retarded genes your children will have.

Dude, "metal" is a relative term, as is "rock" and if you're going to say that nu-metal is more closely related to rock you're incorrect. Now quit with the childish fucking insults.

Oh, wonderful.

At least it's metal. Completely uninteresting mainstream melodic metal, with annoying vocals, but metal.

I agree. I have nothing against seeing it reviewed. Although a POSITIVE review?

Have you heard it? It's not bad. Not amazing, but not bad at all. You have to take it in context. Does this stand up to Nevermore and Iced Earth, Nightwish, etc.? No fucking way. But alongside relative company this is a very good CD. I've only just heard it today, maybe next week I'll lose interest in it, who knows, but today it's very good.

Then again, you can place it in the context of the metal albums being reviewed here. Or that of our personal tastes in metal. My point being, most of us do not choose to listen to its relative company, and as a result, most of us will not bother trying this. I know I won't.
