I was fucking obsessed with Dragonball/Z/GT for about a year or so when I was younger.

I think everyone was at one point. I certainly was.

I love in DBZ how each episode defies the space time continuum. There are some episodes in which 2 years of time pass and then there are other episodes which are supposed to be 45 seconds of time.

Then there are the episode titles which are like "Frieza's End" "Frieza dies" "Freiza's really going to stay dead this time" "Oh NO! Freiza returns!" "The last temptation of Frieza" etc.

Heh, another thing I love about it is how, if one character is like charging up some special move or is changing into their next level of power or something, everyone just kind of stands there and lets it happen.

DBZ, I think I'm the only person who hated this show where I live. Everything just kind of annoyed me. A lot. And this was when I was really into anime.

Though, the only show to come around that I hate even more is Inuyasha. At least when something happened in DBZ, it mattered storywise. While no matter what happens, the situations, characters, and problems never change in Inuyasha. At least in DBZ, a storyline can follow though with many different changes, even if I personally don't like the storyline.

Just watched Millennium Actress together with my friend and I have to say it is a great piece of art.

I consider myself quite an ignoramus when it comes to anime, but anime is almost the only thing that I watch these days (except Animal Planet & Discovery in the morning during breakfast).

I have many favourites, just to mention a few: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (imo, far better than the first one), EVA series and The End of NGE, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle... and now I can also add Millennium Actress here too.

I'm about to get my hands on Akira and Elfen Lied series... and trying to find Robot Carnival for a week now, but to no use.

Trinity Blood is really good, too. I'm a fan of Hellsing, though, so I suppose I'm already predisposed to like Trinity.

I love Sailor Moon, since it caters to my lust of seeing 9-year-old girls' panties followed by a massive brain seizure.

Ever since I watched Cowboy Bebop everything else is far behind in being the best anime i've seen. :D

I don't like the "Waiii! Daimo! NANI!" magical schoolboy ninja anime much, but I like the ones with a touch of horror to them - the Akira movie, and the Boogiepop Phantom and Lain series.
