I really can't agree on this one... first, they killed the drum sound too.... almost as crappy as it is on St Anger... second, there's a few fillers on this one : the shortest straw, to live is to die & even Dyers Eve (so not up to Damage Inc !)... anyway, it's a good album & it's a shame we never got to hear Jason playing on this one but even if we did, it wouldn't be up to their 3 previous albums & certainly not up to Master of Puppets !

How do the drums sound bad?

And most people think Dyers Eve is the most underrated metallica song ever.

Stop putting your dumb ass little emoticons to in every post, it's annoying. I mean, how old are you? I would do that when I was like 13. So I'm guess you're around that age?

the drums sounds like tin cans out off my kitchen's garbage bag... but it's even worse on St Anger

& I'm 33 ! :D :) :( :o  :? 8) :x :P       :!: :?:

and i have very right to be childish a put emoticons everywhere ! :P

You must have a horrible sound system or cd player or whatever. Because they sound great when I listen to them.

I highly doubt you're 33, if you really are, I'm guessing you're mildly retarded in some way.

you should just ignore holy_terror, he's from an institution and he's calling everyone a poser, you should live with it. His doctor told us not to be offended or anything and just keep quite.

once again, I'd like someone to define "posers"... it's seem we don't use that word the same way...

A poser is someone who thinks he's really into whatever genre, but isn't. Sell-outs are posers too. The posing thing is as in posing to be (insert genre), but in fact are not. If I am for example into black metal, and someone else says he's too, though he never heard of Burzum, then he's a poser. Some people take claiming other people to be posers as a hobby. Maybe someone else thinks a poser is someone else, I'm not that good these kind of definitions, so that can be perfectly true. I bet if it weren't for this very line that I write, then Holy_Terror would write someone like you and me as the definition of a poser. Deathkvlt escaped Holy_Terror's acusements for some time by saying he liked Aura Noir, maybe a smart thing for us to do too, it's a good band and from Darkthrone's label so it's safe for me...

ok... I see now....so this means if I'm not taking metal very very seriously then I'm a poser... I guess I should be one...

I don't know if it's possible to know you're a poser... Well, I guess it's possible, but you'd actually have to do it consciously. A poser thinks he or she is serious about metal (or whatever, not necessarily metal) and presents him or herself as so. I think motive is what's most important, really. Like, I'm pretty sure one can say they like black metal and not know Burzum, provided that they then try to learn about them. But if someone tries to convince people that they are an expert on underground black metal and only listen to Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir, then they're a poser.

indeed, and that's why i said being "into" black metal... I hate all this poser shit, just call a band "modern" and both groups know enough...

Back to the great album this thread was supposed to be about. It truly is a classic no matter what immortal emokid thinks. Oh and in no way is Dyers Eve a filler song. That's one of the best Metallica songs ever. So to summarize Emokid go back to listening to emo.
