Deliverance is their worst album. Listen to Blackwater Park, My Arms, Your Hearse and Ghost Reveries first.

Those are my three favourite too, but I find that everyone has a different opinion on Opeth's best albums.

I'd recommend listening to Orchid, Morningrise, and My Arms, Your Hearse.

Blackwater Park was the first one I had picked up after listening through Morningrise. Ghost Reveries was not too bad but did not leave as much of a lasting impression as the aforementioned. Still a solid album in my opinon, however.[/i]

MY OPETH LIST: SINCE ITS COOL TO DO ONE

My Arms.../Still Life/Blackwater Park = all tied for first
Morningrise/Orchid
Ghost Reveries/Deliverance (no dynamics = no thanks)


then off on it's own (somewhere to the side, not below) is Damnation.

Those are the only ones I have listened to, so it would be hard for me to judge otherwise.
