Gimme a break, let the guy show his music, which is not that bad at all. Spite I don't listen to grind a lot, nor to death metal, I can say it's pretty good technical stuff.

I tried it, it's like Crptopsy, but more jazzcorey. Any good? No. Now fuck off, and next time you spam a message board, at least be honest with them and yourself - you're a spammer, not some noo member who's just discovered this amazing band, etc.

Misha, if you really, honestly liked that, try Necrophagist, Cryptopsy and Atheist. I suspect you're just being nice, however, so get thee back to your tree-hugging stuff!

Well, you know I don't like death metal usually, but I know enough of the genre to know what Necrophagist, Cryptopsy and Atheist sound like. It doesn't mean I can't tell if it's executed well or not, and I thought this wasn't bad. It's not really useful to scare away people that show us their music on the internet in my opinion. It's not like they are trying to sell us anything or something. They just ask for an opinion...

Definitely a huge amount of Cryptopsy and Necrophagist influence, and the vocalist... shit... the comparison is right on the tip of my tongue... yeah, he reminds me of a sort of stylistic combo of Erik Rutan and Nile's old bassist. More conviction in his voice, though. I like that. The breakdown near the end was massive.

It's not very original, but I enjoy it.

They are playing at the Maryland Death Metal Fest in 2006, along with Necrophagist, Demilich, and many more. I still think old school death metal is far better, but Beneath the Massacre is pretty good, even if their name conjurs up images of crappy -core bands.

That's the problem for me, there's a lot of bands playing this sort of thing.

And spammers generally are nowhere near as 'good' ( :roll: ) as this, so on balance I'll probably continue to be a cunt, considering they are less than human anyway.

OK, Mr. Forumpolice, while I admit I'm new to metal forums, it was not supposed to be spam and BTW, Beneath The Massacre is not a band "no-ones ever heard of". They are quite popular in technical death metal underground circles.

Dude, Zad, what's your problem man? I introduced myself by starting a thread about Time Requiem, a band I didn't think to many people knew about. Then I spammed Cellador through a million different threads b/c my buddy is in the band (and they're fucking awesome).

So I don't see the big fucking deal with him introducing himself with a relatively unknown band.

BTW, these guys are fucking cool. I just got turned on to Cryptopsy by a recent review from this site. So, this has some major appeal to me. Thanks for the plug.
