Definitely a huge amount of Cryptopsy and Necrophagist influence, and the vocalist... shit... the comparison is right on the tip of my tongue... yeah, he reminds me of a sort of stylistic combo of Erik Rutan and Nile's old bassist. More conviction in his voice, though. I like that. The breakdown near the end was massive.

It's not very original, but I enjoy it.

I actually prefer BTM over Cryptopsy...

They are not quite up there with Necrophagist talent-wise, but they might be in a few albums.

He's part of their e-team, you can't take everything he says seriously.

Certainly not better than Cryptopsy; one could say that they owe Cryptopsy and Necrophagist their careers.

I'll be picking this EP up if I see it, by the way.

I did not say they were better than Cryptopsy, I just like their style a better. And I'm not part of any e-team, I'm a metal fan like everyone else here, so please stop with this bullshit.

Forgive my cynicism, but you haven't posted in any thread other than this one. That does not point to you being anything other than a spammer.

EDIT: They do seem to be a fairly worthwhile band, though. I wouldn't say they're better than Cryptopsy (certainly the vocalist can't hold a candle to Lord Worm, or even DiSalvo) but they're pretty good.

Look at it this way, bud: If this were a forum that I moderated, this topic would have been deleted a long, long time ago.

Does nobody realize that this isn't a good way to get news about a band out? It's fucking lame and nobody on the receiving end really likes it.

You joined this forum, so far, for the sole reason of promoting this band. Even if you aren't an official member of their e-team, then guess what, you just became a member by default.

Now shut your goddamn yap.

yup!

bands should also realize that promoting one's band in other bands guestbooks is a bad idea, yet they keep doing so, even though they don't give shit about the band.
