What a disappointment.

Just got back from the cinema five minutes ago... I came out feeling not disappointed, nor delighted. I just had no opinion of it whatsoever :?

Ha-ha. :P

Jaden, how was Syriana?

UNLEASHED (aka Danny The Dog)

This was one hell of a movie!! Imagine Ong-Bak or some Bruce Lee movie with an actual story besides people kicking ass. Unleashed featered great fighting scenes at ultimate realism (you can't imagine those people are not really getting hit like hell) and a beautiful and sad plot at the same time. You gotta watch that (and Ong-Bak too)!!

Ong-bak had incredible action, the antidote I needed after getting all hyped up to watch fake movies like 'Hero' and being let down..

Probably one of the top five movies of the year. It gets progressively better.

Recently watched...

Chronicles of Narnia -- 2.5/4

Syriana -- 4/4

March of the Penguins -- 3.5/4

King Kong -- 4/4

40 Year Old Virgin. Laaaaaame. I was expecting something along the lines of Anchor Man humor, but got more Meet the parents instead. What a disappointment.

WHAT!? It is like neither of those movies. It is far better. I LOVE The 40-Year-Old Virgin!

I object to that movie because of the lead character. American society has this fallacious correlation between sexual inexperience and naive innocence. Forty-year-old virgins are not virgins because they've never gotten their chests waxed. They're generally virgins because they're forty years old and living in their parents' basements whacking off to tentacle hentai. I've met a few. They're frightening on a whole new level.

Sin City

After 30 minutes I was bored to death and put it off.

Maybe this is entertaining for fans of the comic, but I think this is one of the worst movies ever made.

Stange how opinion differ such a lot on that movie, I thought it was one of the greatest movies ever (and I saw A LOT of movies), although I never heard of the commic... People seem to love or hate the movie...

Could you please explain me then what was so good about the movie?

First of all, I hate comics like Superman, Spiderman, Batman.
And who wants to see a comic malted into a movie? I don't.

I'd watch that movie even if I wasn't board. Home Alone rules, especialy the video game for NES.

Yeah, I thought it was one of the funniest movies in years, not quite as good as Anchor Man. But daaaaamn close.

Funny. I disliked SC, not because it was a comic, but because it was shit. Spiderman, X Men et al at least managed to make a decent film out of the material that had something for all viewers. SC was pure violence and T & A. Nothing to reccommend it at all.
