The problem is that doing what you're suggesting won't work. Idealism doesn't help anyone.
Zad, for the record, you don't get what I'm saying. I don't like nuclear power either. It's unstable, it causes cancer (then again, so does the act of living, but let's not get into that), it's expensive, and it fucks the environment.
However, should the oil crash come before we invent fusion, then there won't be any viable alternatives and nuclear power will have to be the short-term solution. There's no other way.
I don't like it either, alright?
