And I'm also pretty sure Nunslaughter will release something new this year also.

I don't know, I never wait for any particular album and this time it isn't an exception.

But releases that I think one can wait for: Lutomysl (the CD release), Blood of Kingu (UA; it's Saenko's another side-project), Boris, Krieg, Nachtmystium, Nargaroth, Velvet Cacoon, Darkthrone

That would be great, but I would be also pleased if they release at least an EP and a few splits (like *this* year). But a full-length would be awesome indeed.

EDIT: *I mean last year.*

After having heard the compilation mp3 sample, I can't wait to get my hands on Green Carnation's new EP.

Perhaps, just perhaps, Glenn Danzig will release Black Aria 2.

Considering how everything Roman Saenko touches turns to gold (except Dark Ages which sucked the long wrinkled balls of old men) the new Drudkh comes to mind. Also I'm looking forward to see what Blood Of Kingu has to offer.

Nachtmystium - Instinct: Decay was jokingly defined as LSD Black Metal by Azentrius. It's supposed to be their most agressive work to date, but also filled with weird trippy moments...

It WILL rock.

Ah! New Tool, I forgot about that... can't wait, although a new APC album would have been better.

I've actually never met someone who prefers APC over Tool... You're like an endangered species or something.

I kind of do, as well. They're more immediately pleasing, kind of like a streamlined Tool with more melody.

I guess their first album is like that, but after that they're like Tool's pretension without any of the awesomeness or spiritual feel on most songs. It seems to me that the songs of APC I like the most are the ones that sound the most Tool-ish...

I can see that. I guess, for me, sometimes Tool just takes a bit to build up and if I want something a little more in-your-face (relatively speaking, comparing the two) I'd go for APC. Both are great, though, and I guess it's a bit unfair to even compare them.

i'm looking forward to Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue by Kayo Dot. I mean, I already have the promo but this has to be fucking big. I mean, BIG. also, every time the last track ends, I look forward to pressing play again.

Holy shit guys. King Crimson II. anyone post rockish, doomy or proggy needs to check this out. it's hardly metal though, don't expect riffs. just expect atmosphere and awesomeness.

i'm not going to shut up about this album until at least May.
