No. Overall I think they're extremely overrated. Bloody Kisses had some amazing tunes on it, but even though I find that to be their best album, I still think it had a lot of turds on it. The same goes for the rest of their material that came after, I just don't think the good songs on those albums measure up to the good songs on Bloody Kisses.

And their first two albums are fucking horrible, I think. And Carnivore sucks, too. Hehehe.

Korpiklaani is definitely my most anticipated. I love those guys.


I've heard several tracks from the new album live. I can only remember one of them, called Happy Little Bosom, which has already become my favourite Korpiklaani song. Similar to Journeyman, but better.

OH YEAH

I forgot about Ihsahn's solo project. That is likely to be the musical highlight of the year for me.

From what I've heard, it's not straight-up black metal, or even particulary progressive, more of a rock/metal album. And I find his clean vox a bit hit-and-miss, personally.
Plus, the pessimist bit was a joke. I am so, it will be.
