what words you speak of, I have no idea. But yes, as long as I can have them I am happy.

Yes! Finally! Kreator reviews on this site that aren't for Endorama!

Great review Crims... Oh what an amazing album. This has to be my favourite after Coma of Souls and Pleasure to Kill.

Yep... Considering that Kreator are and always have been at the top of the German thrash scene... But then again, this site has very little reviews of German thrash albums. But, this review and the Enemy of God one are definitely quite a good step.

I've always put Sodom at the top....just because Kreator released Endorama.

Indeed, Sodom are remarkably the only band among the German Trinity that didn't face a serious mid-life crisis in the 90's. That said, there's some enjoyable stuff on those albums too, of course if you don't expect to thrash your head off. For example, I kinda enjoy Endorama's title track... it's ridiculously naive when it comes to the composition, but it's bloody catchy.
Let's just not talk about Neo-Destruction... it's painful.

I haven't heard Destruction since they got back together... why is it painful ?

Nono man, they rule since they got back together (The Antichrist is actually my fave Destruction album); Neo-Destruction is basically Destruction without Schmier in the 90's. They put out some extremely shitty albums, and since the reunion they officially disowned that part of the discography, labelling it as Neo-Destruction, and guaranteeing they'll never play any of that stuff live.
MOre bands ought to follow this example (hello Metallica?).

Yes, Destruction's The Antichrist is easily their best album, and rules a whole shitload. And of course, Sodom has kicked ass throughout their whole career and M16 is my second to favourite Sodom album after Agent Orange. I've never heard Destructor, so I'll have to check them out.

Sodom is at the the top, no matter how many crappy realeses kreator has.

i love fucking kreator with pleasure to kill, endless pain, extreme agression and Coma Of souls being my favorite, and i actually like Enemy of God, a great heavy metal/Trash album, mille's voice is great but angelripper is fucking awesome, persecution mania and agent orange are two of my favorites albums of all time.
and as for destruction i love all of their work with schmier, the anticrhist being one of my favorites.

Brahm_K said that sodom has kicked ass through their whole career, that is so fucking true and you know what? there arent many bands with such and an amazing catologue as Sodom, i cant wait for their new album and double DVD.

What amazes me though is that the riffs never get muddy, sloppy, or unrecognizable. Each riff is distinct and well played to the point that the speed is a huge asset and not a recipe for sloppy playing (Venom anyone?).

Wtf? The playing on Endless Pain is every bit as sloppy as the old Venom stuff. The dude who wrote this review needs to get his ears cleaned. :P
But i'm not saying it's a bad thing. It just gives some raw flavor to the music.

Not really. You might think that from the production but it's way more distinct than venom, you should get your ears cleaned.

I know what you mean, but I think the production is to blame. The original CD has some of the worst productions I've ever heard.

Nope. I know what i'm talking about. I'm a guitar player myself.

Ventor, especially, is trying to play faster than he can. Listen to those double bass drums and tell me they're not out of time. The guitar playing is a little bit more precise, but still sloppy.

Ok, I don't know ANYTHING about thrash, but what I do know is that when I saw Kreator this Friday, they owned the fucking shit out of Slayer and especially Megadeath that were there too, as I expected from Kreator. I guess this is all a matter of taste, but I don't want thrash to sound tight, clean and with good production. I want it fucking raw, accelerating and as aggressive as possible, and Kreator can do this. The flimsy English is just fucking awesome, KREATOR IST KRIEG!!! IHR WICHSER!
