I wouldn't call it insane, but it's pretty good. Like Atheist.

Well it easily surpasses all of my death metal nominees this year. I love this kind of death metal! YIPPIE!!

Edit: I also think it's a little more brutal than Atheist..

This is ok, but nowhere near better than anything on my top five. Come on Dago, you're saying this is better than Crionics?

Maybe I just need to hear the entire album instead of one song. BTW, I like The Human Abstract's samples a lot.

Saw these Russian bastards live at the Tuska festival this past summer. They kicked ass.

I had to resurrect this topic and give Hieronymus Bosch more praise then what I did in an earlier post. I've had this album on repeat for this entire week. I was a little turned off by how technical they were at first, but holy crap give them a chance and they will blow your mind. I think, so far, my favorite songs are Blind Windows Stare or Tired Eyes.

I've been listening to these guys alot too since I asked for a bunch of tech metal recommendations. Of all the bands I got recommended to me they were pretty damn close to the top of the list.

Thanks for kicking up this topic!

I am really not a death metal fan (except for opeth) but this sounds very cool! Kinda progressive, very interesting!

I've listened to their samples and all I can say is: wow! I can't believe these guys were only 16 when they recorded The Human Abstract. I'm gonna get their albums. Both of them.

Not really a fan... Vox are bothersome. But, they had a full length at 16? That's impressive, as well as interesting.

This stuff is very cool. Plus they are Russian and have a great name, so bonus points are awarded! Comparisons to Atheist aren't usually a bad thing.

So... now that we're talking Jazzy Death... what did you think of Stargazer? (The Death band I told you about...)

They're both technically metal bands, and some metal heads think Opeth is technical.

Oh, and all the bandmembers in both bands breathe oxygen.

Man, I can't see how people don't always mistake HB for Opeth.
