Kind of boring, but "Unas Slayer Of The Gods."

It's a toss-up between Sarcophagus and Ramses Bringer of War, Unas close behind.

Lashed To The Slave Stick is a good song. Other than that, I haven't really listened to enough Nile yet to decide. I only own Amongst The Catacombs... right now, and really haven't listened to it enough to decide a favorite song just yet.

Of the three albums I own, BSoV, ITDS and AotW, I'd say Kheftiu Asar Butchiu is my favourite, followed by Churning the Maelstrom and Winds of Horus. While I like Unas, I find the rest of their epic songs immensely boring. The songs I mentioned are of the 4 minute kind, which is best suited to their kind of death metal.

Does anyone else find that Lashed to the Slave stick is in the same vein as Cannibal's Stripped, Raped and Strangled? Brutal bands making (for them) commercial songs. I've got tons of people into death metal using those two songs coupled with a bit of Bolt Thrower.

Agreed.

That must be why everyone likes those songs so much.

But seriously... I mean... fucking Sarcophagus, man! How can you not bang your head when that heavy-as-a-runaway-chicken-train riff starts off with the steady double-bassing in the background, and then, slowly growling out of the murky depths of that song...

"Who dares disturb... my blissful sleep..."

I swear it gives me goosebumps every time.

Hahaha, of course. Stipped, Raped and Strangled is my favourite of the two, though. I fucking love it, "I had to kill heeeer!"

Unas, To Dream of Ur, Chapter for Transforming into A Snake.

Nile can be great at 2 minute or 10 minute songs, not many other death metal bands can say that.

Wind of Horus gets an honorable mention for featuring my favorite Nile melody.

Shhh, you!!!

Defiling the Gates of Ishtar, To Dream of Ur, and basically anything else off the BSoV album. Really epic, and organic. Their true (and only) masterpiece.
