Have we always not agreed or something? You calling me out like that was a bit of a shock, to be quite honest.

I've not heard any Ark except for what's on their website.

I know we usually agree on lots of things when it comes to music...

on Ark, you should really try Burn the Sun, I think it's one of the best modern hard rock album of the last 10 years...

Just listened to this for the first time.

Like most people said, a nice and unexpected surprise. I'd have liked it to be that little bit heavier, but as it is Place Vendome have made a very nice little AOR album. It reminds me of Europe (that's a good thing, bastards!). Its always great to hear Kiske's voice in conjunction with decent music. After one spin I'd give this a very respectable 70, but we'll see how it holds up to repeated listens.

PS Stef, did you need to tell me what "Place Vendome" meant? I could have done without knowing that - I thought it was a pretty cool name at first. :lol:

That is pretty much how I felt about it. I was just thinking about this album at work today.
