This bad boy might take some getting used to, especially the vocals, but this is not bad at all. Thanks for the review Ian, keep the power metal coming.

Nothing wrong with generic power metal. After all it is what we were listening to when it wasn’t generic. The only way I would rate an album that low is if I only liked one song and found the rest to be garbage or if I found certain aspects of the album to be good such as, production, vocals, but found the overall musicianship and songwriting to be dreadful. Generic deserves at least 55/100 and at most 69/100. As for this album, well I haven’t had a chance to listen to it in its entirety.

I'd never score an album with 0/100. That means that I hate every single note on it. Elwing is a crap PM band. Their debut I scored even lower 30/100. A score like that certainly shows that other people in my position would give it 0. I like PM in general but this is worthless garbage. At least the riffs in War were a little better hence the higher score. I have no grudges against any band, it would almost seems as a personal thing. I'd recommend to every PM fan to stay away from this.

Here you're saying it is bad, so I can understand your score for that reason. But generic doen't deserve anything under 55/100, IMO.

I have their first album, thought it was not bad, but not awesome either. But it does have a awesome cover i must say.
Havent heard their new one, must check it out.

Cool review. I like this album. One small error I noticed is that Black Destriny released "In Neo Noir" not Black Abyss.
