Yes, that's my opinion.

Rhapsody is very high orchestrated, the epic mediecal lyrics and arrangements takes you to some kind of "middle-earth" world, and as their first album, Legendary Tales is a "must buy", "must hear", "must take with you wherever you go" album. It also deserves a better score.

PS.: The changes of the site, are quite good, but it was done too abruptly  , and with no warnings. Well, i'm sorry if i lost any warning. But i'm sad that i lost all comments i made here.

Best regards 8)

There were some warnings given but they were easy to miss I guess..

We're working on getting the old comments but so at least people can read them.

As for the review. In your opinion is Legendary Tales Rhapsody's best?

Dawn of victory was my first rhapsody album and I'm bias towards it, but this is a close second. No particular reason though, unfortunately, it's just a matter of taste.

It's only in between this album and Symphony of Enchanted Lands where Rhapsody really showed any significant evolution. They found the perfect style for them with SoEL, perhaps that's why they got stuck. I haven't heard SoEL II yet, but uptil now I don't think any CD of theirs has topped SoEL. Turilli's first solo album was very close though.

Well... i didnt knew Rhapsody, until a few months ago. Lets say that i'ts too early for me, to say which of them is the best for me. The things is: LS was the first one i heard, and i became very impressed.

Tha's why i gave 90. I have now listen to SoEL and DoV, and i really really liked them. For today, i'm tending to think that SoEL is the best.

"For the king, for the land, for the mountains!"

Dawn of Victory is my favorite album overall. I think it has the best continuity and song quality. However nothing can beat being drunk with your buddies, swinging beer steins in your hand and chanting the chorus to Emerald Sword.

HAHAHA.

I can imagine.

The first time i heard about it, i laugh so much.

I have Dawn Of Victory, and i think it is very nice! I'm becoming a huge fan of Rhapsody, each day.

Legendary Tales' first song (Warrior of Ice) is the best track for me. I love the break with soft voice, violon, then guitar, it's just great. That must be the track I listened the most from Rhapsody.

LT and SoEL are their best CD to my opinion.

Yup, that is a great song although my favorite is Land Of Immortals, probably because it was the second Rhapsody song I had ever heard and what originally drew me to the band.
