What a maelstrom of brutality! The debut album of Severe Torture, a band from the Netherlands, is not for the faint of heart.

Each track is made of non-stop musical violence. I'm not a big fan of this kind of "I'm throwing up in the microphone!" vocals, but I have to admit that they go very well with the music and after a while they didn't annoy me anymore. But the music... this band should try non-caffeinated beverages as they are very very fast. Incredible druming and riffs from hell is the substance from which those songs are made.

The productions is excellent: the sound of guitars is harsh and fierce enough to rip you ears off while the drums will ring clearly in your head. It's a bit short with only 34 minutes but the solution is simple, hit the play button again and continue the massacre.

Fans of brutal metal will love it!
