This 3 song demo from the US (Texas) band Lifesize is quite interesting. A demo which comes with a very good sound for a demo, that's for sure.

The band plays Heavy Metal, square and heavy to the bones. Their first song Take a While is really cool, with more melodic guitars and riffs than the other songs and is definitely the best of their songs. My only complain from my part would be about the singer, although I have no doubt that he can sing very well, he doesn't put enough power and aggression compared to the rest of the music and I think that his vocal approach on these songs are maybe not the solution. He shows moment where in gets more into it and during which the overall sounds much better. The second song Escape is a mid-tempo Heavy, maybe too Heavy song that tends to get a bit boring because of it's lack of hooks except for the riff. The last song Coming Down is much better with a better chorus but still need to find some hooks then and there otherwise the song tends to get too repetitive.

Their songs are available at mp3.com, so you can download them and be sure to drop the band a line, I'm sure they'll appreciate your feedback.

Although good for a demo, a better production would definitely help the band. And with the help of a good producer, who could guide them a bit to find their sound, and which could help the singer integrate better in the music, they could deliver a good Heavy Metal. Keep up the good work.
