If Fear Factory sound is mentioned then Meshuggah sound has to be mentioned? Than are FF a rip-off of Meshuggah?
No, but both of those bands have a similar riffing style, though Fear Factory's take on it is not nearly as complex as Meshuggah's.

"Some of the riffs sound almost exactly like riffs off Natural Born Chaos." Is it really? I really don't think so....
I believe I noted that. Listen to Natural Born Chaos, and then to the songs I noted. If you hear no similarities, well, then that's what you hear.

The Duran Duran cover is great. That's what I meant. You had to have a friend telling you that this is not their best music? Did you even know it?
No, but I hate all 13 of the Duran Duran songs I've heard, this wasn't one of them, and so I asked a friend who likes them if Wild Boys was a good song. I listened to Mnemic's cover, and I disliked it, but that's probably Duran Duran's fault rather then Mnemic's. It's a rubbish song.

By the way...great style you invented there... Fear Factory Rip-off music...well you forgot to include the Meshuggah and Soilwork influences in that Rip-off too
They're not as prevelant in the music, so I didn't see as much of a need to include them.

...and also you need to change a lot of styles in manu reviews in this site...like In Flames Rip-offs or Mayhem Rip-offs or even Dimmu Borgir Rip-offs...Tiamat Rip-offs, Morbid Angel Rip-offs, Megadeth Rip-offs, Helloween Rip-offs...and it goes on and on....(just gave this examples but there are many more)
I have no problem when a band takes another bands' style and plays around with it, or changes it to fit them. I DO have a problem with bands that display this so blatantly and barely bother to change the riffs around. Mnemic is one of those on this disc.
The problem with this is that none of you seem to realize that this is my opinion, and is just as valid as any opinion to be voiced. That's what critics are for: opinions that are voiced with the help of publications. It's impossible to satisfy an audience unless you read all of their minds and give what you're reviewing the average of those scores. Since I cannot satisfy all of you, I can only write scores that I agree with, and I absolutely refuse to compromise my critical integrity and change the score or the review. It wouldn't be right.
If you want to write the reviews for this website, then mail them in. Become a reviewer and disagree with me: I'll welcome the debate. But don't rail uselessly against me, it will do nothing. I can continue to argue, but I won't change my opinion, because it's
what I agree with.
The score will remain intact.
Good day to you all.
