I do the same- in fact, I only smoke cigars (and pot about twice a year) and drink lots of booze. I once killed a sheep.

I enjoy both, but have given up the former and cut down heavily on the latter.

Pfft.

I only drink just a bit just so people won't be able to call me straight edge, but yeah, I generally don't do drugs.

I don't smoke cigarettes. Cigars are more of a social cool thing, and you don't inhale the smoke. As for alcohol, I do only beer. Hard liquor is for the ladies.

Cigars are once in a blue moon thing for me. Cigarettes are a daily necessity while beers are a must have during weekends, lots of them. Hard liquor is on the menu during an occasion, when you need something to celebrate over here. They cost a bomb.

I bet you guys enjoy so much liquor cos they must be pretty cheap over there. Here, cigarettes and liquor are considered vices and get taxed fuckin o'er the roof!!!! Entertainment tax, they say.

1 packet Class A cigarettes (Dunhill, Marlboro etc) - RM 8.20/ USD 2.20

1 can of beer (Carlsberg, Tiger etc) - RM 7.00/ USD 1.90

1 can of imported beer (Buds, Fosters) - RM 10.00/ USD 2.70

1 bottle of beer (750ml) - RM 15.50/ USD 4.10

1 bottle JD 750ml - RM120.00/ USD 31.60

1 bottle Martell VSOP regular - RM 150/ USD 39.50

1 bottle Bombay Sapphire - RM 250.00/ USD 65.80

1 bottle Martel VSOP blue label - RM 450.00/ USD 118.42

The entertainment tax that includes tobacco and liquor is 13% over here. It might be increased next year.

Foreigners will enjoy themselves cos of their conversion rate. If you actually look in USD, like I've stated, it's not expensive at all. But in ringgit, it's so fucking expensive. Imagine, a meal here costs an average of RM 5.00/ USD 1.30. I'd have to starve 90 meals just to buy a Martell VSOP Blue Label. Shite. That's why I resort to weekend drinking only. Can't afford it man! I'm still in college!!! I hate the fuckin Brits!!! Their beer cost 90p a pint!!

me too... i'm all fancy now :D

i don't drink that much though... perhaps 1- 1,5 bottles of wine per week. I don't drink that much beer at home, only fancy imported beer from fancy countries such as Austria or Belgium (both favourite beer countries) etc.... it is yummy in my tummy, but it's not that often.

1 glass of wine a day keep the docters away, or so they say.

cold beer is awsome, taste awful when warm... Liquor taste pretty much like sour assjuice no matter what :)... that's why ppl always makes funny faces when they drink the hard stuff. The more sour lemon faces they make, the better they say it is.. i don't get it. Sure, once u are half pissed it taste alright, i guess...

Beer has caused me to wake up in the mornings and want to work out. I've been lifting so much only because I've been drinking so much. Alcohol is getting me in shape. Ironic. As for the effects of beer, check this out:

You gotta start em young, guys. I had my first beer when I was 7 and my first cigarette when I was 10. Never liked both on my first tries, thought I'd never do it in the future. But 5 years away, I'm 15 year old football maniac smokin his life out on the football field and havin beer as refreshments. Gatorade's just too expensive.
