Maybe if Peta didn't youthanize more animals than anyone in the world they would have some credibility7. That and their whole "complete animal liberation" bullshit makes me sick. If they had their way no one would have the right to own an animal for any reason. Fuck them.
I'm going to take a stand and defend PETA. PETA
euthanizes, through injection, animals that are too healthy to live a "normal" life without constant medical care. PETA does its best to care for as many animals as it can yet since the animals in its care have a much higher standard of living it is more expensive than the care provided by the SPCA.
PETA bases much of its agenda off of ideas like Peter Singer's where it puts animals on the same level as humans. That leads to pet ownership equaling slavery whether you force your animal to work in the fields or keep it locked inside all day.
In defense of PETA, PETA's most prolific campaign has been against KFC. PETA secretly bought mass amounts of KFC stock and then preceded to pass a policy to gas the chickens instead of hacking off their heads with buzzsaws. The gas left the chickens completely safe to eat , was cheaper to use and was much safer to work around for the employees as opposed to the saws.
KFC agreed to the policy and it went to the owner of KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut who being an obstinate prick said no because he wasn't willing to put out the effort. Maybe he was just a brutal death metal fan. Therefore PETA began a viral campaign and physical protests outside the stores in order to gain support.
