I loves me some Hockey.

Go Leafs Go! and such. Hopefully the rebuild is successful and I can start to get excited for my team like the Habs/Yotes/Penguins/Hawks fans can. Playoff hockey in Toronto is the best, why you ask? Because the number of "suits" is way down and actual Leaf fans get to the games, making the ACC one of the louder buildings in the NHL. Too bad it's been 4 years since I truely enjoyed a playoff game.

My second favourite NHL team is the Anaheim Ducks. And no, I didn't jump onto the bandwagon 2 seasons ago when they won the cup. I've liked them for years. When I was in grade 8 and they were in the finals against the Devils it made me so excited, I watched every game. Then 2 seasons ago watching them easily dispose of the Senaturds in 6 games just added to my love for them. Too bad they got off to a bad start this season, but they seem to have turned it around.

I also have a new respect for the Detroit Red Wings, what a team.

My second favourite sport has to be MMA. Mainly UFC. I get the PPV every month, also watch The Ultimate Fighter every once in a while. Sucks that MMA is illegal here in Ontario, but at least it is legal in Montreal and I plan on going to the next PPV in Montreal. My favourite fighter of all time has to be Randy Couture. But man I just don't know if he can beat Lesnar. Other fighters I really like/enjoy watching: Anderson Silva(his last fight ended pretty bad), George St. Pierre, Rich Franklin, Forrest Griffon, and Chuck Liddel. Can't stand: Chris Leben, Rampage Jackson, Diego Sanchez, and Kimbo Slice (so happy when he lost in like 13 seconds). I remember watching UFC back when Ken Shamrock was the main star, as well as Royce Gracie and there was practically no rules.

I would have to MMA is the one "sport" I can't get into. I actually think it is a gimmick, not a sport. I have friends that fight in local MMA matches as well as statewide fights, but I can't even find myself going to cheer for them. Boxing, on the other hand, is awesome. I like the set of rules they have to keep from killing the other person. Plus it just seems more classy(?) than MMA.

With how corrupt boxing has become, I actually think MMA is the more classy of the two, though that hasn't always been the case.

Since the advent of MMA rules and their getting accepted by State Athletic Commissions, it is a lot more technical and fun to watch in my opinion. You should give it another chance NESS. A lot of these guys, particularly in the UFC, are skilled martial artists who rely just as much on their jiu-jitsu skills as they do on their punches and kicks. A straight up brawler will never be able to sustain a career in MMA. I mean, look at Kimbo.

I used to prefer boxing over MMA by a mile, but now its the other way around.

I guess I didn't watch it with an open mind. It's so rare that I actually get a chance to watch it too. Like I said I have friends that fight, maybe I'll go see their next fight.

I love to see all the hockey fans. I wish it would get some more airtime. I don't have cable so all I see are the highlights on espn.com.

I love football. I'm a big supporter of Liverpool FC and Negeri Sembilan FC (local team, our league and players are crap, but it's purely patriotism).

Apart from that..gee...I don't think I like any other sport as much as football.

I used to play football everyday even during exams in my school days. I love defence cos it's the only position where tackling is most fun. Broke a few mates' bones but what the hell, it's football. Then in college I drank, smoked and partied too much, developed a huge beer gut and now I suck at football badly.
