No fan of threads like this, but I will go with those I own.

1. Metallica - St. Anger
2. Korn - Untouchables
3. Turbonegro - Retox
4. Children of Bodom - Are you dead yet
5. In Flames - Soundtrack to your escape

Could only come up with those five from my collection... Some of them being only half-bad

Skeksis, I haven't head Brutal Truth, but other 9 album are way above mediocre! Iron Maiden's Powerslave? Slayer's Season in the Abyss??? C'mon...

In no particular order:

1. Mötley Crüe - Girls Girls Girls
2. Metallica - St. Anger
3. Helloween - Chamelon.
4. Helloween - Pink Bubbles Go Ape
5. Human Fortress - Eternal Empire

That's all I can think for now...

Dude, I'm all ok with being unconventional, but those aren't just classics, those are fantastic albums!

I don't know Pleasure To Kill, but I love Kings of Metal. It's got Hail And Kill, Kings of Metal and Blood of the Kings on it. Sure, they lack originality with the names, but still, badass album.

Buy it. It is a kickass slab of pure '80s German Thrash.
Under The Guillotine, Pestilence, Riot of Violence, Commnd of the Blade, Ripping Corpse, Pleasure to Kill... every track on that album
delivers.

Metallica - St. Anger

Metallica - Kill 'Em All

Entombed - Clandestine

Those are all I can think of. Fortunately, I haven't heard real terrible albums.

What would be your ten best albums? Perhaps that might lend a little perspective.
I will not say that all the albums you listed are great ( a few are ), but the worst? Mediocre, yes, but I can think of many, much worse albums.

Looks like it's time to kick some ass for not conforming to the carbon copy tastes of most metalheads.

Deicide's debut's a Death Metal classic. Jeebus.

As for the worst albums, I have no idea. Limp Bizkit, Good Charlotte and Blink 182 probably feature.

i'm not sure if they're the absolute worst, but Aiden, Brain Drill, A Pleasant Shade of Grey, Anthony Green, Zach Hill & Mick Barr, Scab Dates, Septic Flesh, The Anatomy Of, Bring Me The Horizon's first one, Miles Davis's Live-Evil crap from the 70s, and Alestorm are definitely up there
