Looking to compile a list of bands that have clear ties to the horror genre. Bands like White Zombie/Rob Zombie, Ghoultown, Nekromantix, Insane Clown Posse, etc.
NOT looking for bands with names like Goatcuntfuck and Angel Cum that write about so-called "horrific" stuff.
I'm also interested in musicians that have branched out into the horror genre. Again, cats like Rob Zombie, Henry Rollins, Dee Snider, and so on.
Post 'em up!

Er, wait, so you want posey Nu-Metal stuff rather than bands that create an atmosphere of horror? Because if you want the latter, there are plenty of picks: The Axis Of Perdition, Portal, Aborted, Obituary, Autopsy, Cannibal Corpse, Coffins, Corpsing, Defeated Sanity, Demilich... there are loads. Atmosphere > image.
Fat white people singing about eating intestines and Satan is not what I want. There needs to be a tie-in with the horror genre, as in the literary horror genre, old movies and books and such.
Life of Agony musically has nothing to do with horror, but Wire Hangers, bassist Alan Robert's horror comic does. Henry Rollins and Dee Snider has no connection musically, however both have done horror movies. Dee did that Halloween instrumental disc, though. Rob Zombie, of course, has music, comics, and movie tie-ins.
Iced Earth have the Horror Show album. Force of Evil has their two albums which largely focus on horror movies/books. These are the sort of things we're looking for.
Way to objectify an entire genre there, bigot. Have you heard any of The Axis Of Perdition? Far from fat, far from Satan. Certainly more to do with horror (as in, music that horrifies) that Dee Snider, ffs.
