A few months ago I made a comment where I criticized the majority of power metal bands for having vocalists who sound like they're 12 years old. This vocalist in Mystic Prophecy (Roberto Liapakis) is the absolute antithesis of the aforementioned whiny prepubescent voices that seem to permeate power metal. Liapakis has a dirty aggressive grit in his voice that just fits this style better imo. Thomas' assessment is spot on as there are some great tracks to be had here but the Ozzy tune is painful to listen to. It made me wonder: WHY? There are some average songs as Thomas mentioned but the rest of the album is so good that it makes you totally forget about the mediocrity of those songs. Damn good album and nice review Thomas

I hope the next album doesn't 'suck'.
