Good album, consistency is a big plus, throughout this album or through the entire career as a matter of fact.

A few months ago I made a comment where I criticized the majority of power metal bands for having vocalists who sound like they're 12 years old. This vocalist in Mystic Prophecy (Roberto Liapakis) is the absolute antithesis of the aforementioned whiny prepubescent voices that seem to permeate power metal. Liapakis has a dirty aggressive grit in his voice that just fits this style better imo. Thomas' assessment is spot on as there are some great tracks to be had here but the Ozzy tune is painful to listen to. It made me wonder: WHY? There are some average songs as Thomas mentioned but the rest of the album is so good that it makes you totally forget about the mediocrity of those songs. Damn good album and nice review Thomas :) I hope the next album doesn't 'suck'.

Not a single Mystic Prophecy album suck, just my opinion. The next one won't either I'm sure. And Raven I agree with your Liapakis observation.

I lost interest in them after Never Ending to be honest, went downhill from there in my opinion. This is definitely an improvement.
