Some may not like this since there is a lot of Halford like falsetto vocals but I like those type of vocals(and I'm studying to sing like that)and since I like Judas Priest I don't mind them at all.
I'm also a
HUGE fan of Halford-like-falsetto-vocals!!!

...But I read on another topic that suggested that u r a female?!? THAT would surely make an interesting listen!

Of course this album will scream Painkiller clone but that's ok since Painkiller was JP's greatest CD.Battle Angels opens up the album with fury of a raging storm rampaging through your speakers in full force.
Except that Painkiller came two years
later than Refuge Denied!

By the way don't compare Nevermore with this CD since both bands are like night and day.Enjoy this CD because this would be the only time you'll ever hear Warrel Dane wail like Rob Halford on speed.
That's true.
I actually got into Sanctuary and Nevermore at the same time (that was when Nevermore's newest album was Politics Of Ecstasy) and I was very disappointed to find out that Warrel didn't use his AMAZING higher register almost at all anymore  ->
