I got my tickets to Nick Cave this morning.

General Admission. Guess how much they cost me. Just guess.

(Hint: more than the most expensive tickets from the show you're going to. GA, remember.)
General admission? 100 bucks?

It was $105.60. With the booking fee, a ticket for me and the girlfriend was $215.something.

So uncool. Now that I know what other audiences around the world pay, I'm going to boycott every show that isn't an absolute must see. Unfortunately Nick Cave is exactly that....
You only paid fifteen more than me. Albeit General admission. Idk what to expect in terms of a crowd. I'm kinda imagining me and a punch of yuppie ex-punks chilling out in a music hall with our legs crossed.

Yeah, general admission, but also, NICK CAVE FUCKING LIVES HERE.

If I pay $60 to see Cannibal Corpse, I acknowledge that it costs them a lot of money to come to Australia and bring their equipment, etc.

By the same logic, you should pay more than me to see Nick Cave, who has to travel with his band and equipment to America. And taking into account the fact my ticket is GA, $15 less than what I paid is more unfair than it initially seems.

Someone figured out Australian audiences will pay more for shows, and now promoters are taking us to the cleaners. Fuck them.

Booked tickets for Fields of the Nephilim in Leeds UK for 15th December

NEXT YEAR, going to be a long wait.

£31.50, it's a double header with The Mission

Absurdly early sale date. You ever hear the Behemoth cover of, I believe, Penetration?

Last gig I attended was The Evil Twins.
Marilyn Manson & Rob Zombie.
MM was totally shite, he can't sing, he was either drunk or drugged up or both. Don't think they had done a sound check either, if was terrible. Lasted 3 songs before we went to the bar.
Now RZ was brilliant, totally blew MM away, did everything we wanted and had a walk around the crowd.

Last gig I had tickets for was Katatonia but I didn't go after listening to their latest album, thought it was very dull. I also have Viva Emptiness which is dull to, IMO. Don't think I missed much there though. Their earlier stuff is far better.

Yes I've heard it, it's not a bad cover.
I think that album, Zoon, is my fav of theirs even if technically it's not FOTN. :)

Testament is boring live, but Skolnick is awesome. Get ready to wrestle old dudes for the front.

So Bobby Blitz is sick and Overkill dropped off the tour. At least the Canadian part of it. Didn't end up going to the concert as we were really only there for Overkill. Fuck Testament, boring shit they are. So instead we got really drunk downtown Toronto, which was awesome, them stupidly drove home afterwards. I could of died!

What a night. Get better Bobby!

The Death to All Tour is hitting a lot of smaller venues this year! We got a DC date and a Cincy date.

300+ lbs?!! really? you're one fat bastard. That explains why you listen to so much thrash.

And pizza.

And it's not all fat. You forget that my job has me moving people around all day, a lot of that is upper body muscle. I am fat, this I won't deny, but muscle weighs more than fat and I've got my fair share of muscle.
