Album of the month

EDGUY ! Well this name now have a huge place in the true metal scene. Savage Poetry is nothing else than their very first album, but with a big surprise : a total remix. You'll be able to find 2 versions, one of them is a double CD containing both new and old version and you'll see how scary the difference is, in 3 words : night and day.

Edguy is a fabulous band, and one of my favorite. This album is a pure wonder of True Metal from the first song to the last. Like always Edguy riffs, solos and chorus are amazing and it seems that Tobias Sammet is still in the progression stage with his voice cause he sounds even better than before (apparently it's possible). Not only the voice if you ask me because this guy is a hell of a song writer, when you take the original version of Savage Poetry and the new one and compare it you ask yourself how he did it ! This album will explode your brain cells and let them dance in the void of what's left in there ! With no doubt about it : a candidate for album of the year (we'll see).

We can thanks band like Edguy for the True Metal revival that's for sure. This is a buy-or-die album for all True Metal fans, but not only, every metal fan should like the songs cause the variety of the album is excellent, not 2 songs are alike and you can find everything in there, and always full of strong emotions ! Two thumbs up !

Killing Songs :
